高清的大热有点迅雷不及掩耳之势。一时间，整个监控领域都充斥着“高清”的因子，并迅速推动着其他监控设备的发展。而高清DVR，正是此浪潮下的产物。本期测评，我们就带领读者，一起进入高清DVR的世界。
晃眼又是新一轮的新旧交替。对于向来崇尚“一年之计在于春”的中国人而言，新年伊始开个好头无疑具有重大意义。而A&S在2011年的第一期测试专题就挑战目前概念较为混淆的高清DVR。笔者认为，不单是顺应了“高清”大热的潮流，更多是值“高清”之际，能为安防行业献出自己的绵薄之力，与读者一起体验高清DVR的真实效果，从而让读者对多称呼的DVR有个更为清楚的区分。
众所周知，DVR大致包括PC式DVR、嵌入式DVR、以及顺应网络化发展而生的模数混合型DVR。而本期测试的高清DVR，可以说是嵌入式DVR和模数混合型DVR的特殊体现。根据本刊的咨询和了解，整理了一下高清DVR的概念，其一般是指采用H.264的压缩格式，前端在接入清晰度达650线以上的高清网络摄像机时，通过BNC接口传输模拟信号到DVR进行压缩***，而后进行录像存储，其图像显示的分辨率可达到1080×968以上，称为高清DVR。

为了测试其具体的性能表现，在此次产品测评中，我们主要从以下几方面来考察该产品。
首先是外观结构和整体的设计工艺方面，在测试前，我们除了关注产品的外观美感，更偏重查看接口设计的合理性、安装施工、调试、及前面板按键设计的便利性等方面的考核。此外，存储空间、散热性能等项目，也是我们考察的重点之一。
其次，在软件方面，我们也会动手操作，查看其操作的简易性和便利性;在图像方面，我们除了考察其在D1或者4CIF格式下的图像显示效果(包括图像清晰度和色彩还原性能的验证)外，在网络性能的测试方面，我们会选择在CIF和D1(或者4CIF)分辨率格式下，检验其模拟视频信号经DVR压缩***后客户端图像显示及录像的相关性能，主要是网络延时性能、码流控制性能等，并对该款DVR在录像和视频回放情况下的码流及延时性能进行测试。这主要由于网络延时性能、码流控制性能及录像回放的图像清晰度和码流延迟效果，一直是用户最重要的需求之一，所以在数据的总结获取方面，我们定将会进行多次反复的测试验证，基本保证每个数据的最终结果都是经过测试四次以上，再取平均值，以求客观呈现结果。最后，除了这些常规项目的测试外，我们还将对产品附带的其他功能进行测试，如热插拔功能、磁盘阵列或可支持前端高清网络摄像机接入的模数混合型DVR的功能等，这些功能的具体测试流程，在此不再细述。
